Interesting concept - who
created it?
The
original concept of selling pixels was created by a 21 year old student
named Alex Tew. Alex was looking for a way to raise money to pay for
his university education and created a web site named
www.milliondollarhomepage.com.
Much to the surprise of Alex, and his critics, the concept was very
successful.
Better Pixels has
expanded the idea and set up a commercial advertising site,
sponsored by the
Better Internet Bureau. BIB
is a highly respected consumer protection site and has a well
established track record.
How do I
know the Better Pixels site will still be active in seven years?
The
Better Internet Bureau was founded in 1998 and has been on line for
seven years, there is no reason why
BIB
and
Better Pixels
should not survive another seven years.
What is the advantage of
placing my advertising with Better Pixels?
As
the name implies, our pixels are better because they only cost fifty cents each and because we are backed by the
Better Internet Bureau. Thousands
of people visit the Better Internet site every year and your image will
be linked to one of the Bureau's pages. Over a seven year period your
site could be viewed by thousands of people.
Can I buy less than 100 pixels?
No.
Your image would not display properly.
Do I have to own a business
to buy pixels?
No.
Any individual, business, or non-profit, may buy pixels as long as they
have a web page and their images meet our guidelines. See "
Terms
& Conditions".
Is the opportunity limited to US
residents?
No.
The pixels are sold in US funds because the US dollar is considered to
be a universal currency. Anyone, anywhere in the world, may purchase
our pixels.
